A (Distressed) Denim Story

3×1 Mid-Rise Skinny Jeans: Barneys Warehouse; Beaded Crop Top: Forever 21; MAMA Nursing Tank: H&M; Ankle-Strap Sandals: Old Navy

I am a very fickle shopper. All too often, I purchase an article of clothing because, in the moment, I absolutely have to have it … only to turn around and detest the piece after a couple of wears. Needless to say, keeping my wardrobe up to date has been a complete nightmare—yet another reason you can usually catch me in leggings and a graphic tee 98% of the time.

That being said, I talked about how I distressed my own denim a couple of blog posts ago. At the time, I was happy with the turnout. As expected, however, I am back to hating those jeans with a passion. Still, I’m quite opposed to spending my life savings on a new pair of jeans, regardless of how incredible they make my tush look. I just can’t do it.

Luckily, my job recently had an incredible sale that I took full advantage of. One of my prized purchases included this really great pair of 3×1 jeans. I would’ve balked at their original $225 price tag, but I got a deal that was too good to pass up on. They’re super comfortable, fit like a dream (no belt required), and are subtly distressed with just the right amount of rips and fading. Love, love, love.

I paired them with this beautifully beaded coral crop top from the very depths of my closet layered over a pale blue tank because #mombod.

I’m no fashionista, so really nothing special to see here … just a great pair of jeans and a very happy girl.
