Smooth Operator

Let me preface this by saying that I am NOT a smoothie lover. Nor do I consider smoothies to be real “food”—sorry health nuts. Still, last week I had the most random and incurable craving for Jamba Juice, but I was too tired to drive to one (first world problems). I rummaged through my kitchen and concocted the Mango Peach Smoothie below. I loved it so much that I experimented again and came up with the Apple Pear Smoothie a few days later. Unexpected success twice in a row! Hope you enjoy! Note: I used my Nutribullet for both recipes. Easy peasy.

Mango Peach Smoothie:
1 cup sliced mango
1 cup sliced peaches
½ cup coconut water
½ cup orange juice
½ cup milk (or soy milk)
ice cubes

Apple Pear Smoothie:
1 sliced apple
1 sliced pear
¼ cup water
¼ cup coconut water
½ cup milk (or soy milk)
1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
1 pinch of cinnamon
ice cubes
